Our Work
What We Have Done
We started with a physical clinic in Ranchi (state of Jharkhand) in February/March 2020, which later transitioned into a teleheath clinic. Teleheath was considered a futuristic idea in March 2020 in India, however, it rapidly became ubiquitous once COVID-19 spread a month later.

During India's COVID-19 crisis Spring 2021, we accomplished the following:
-
Created a WhatsApp group to provide medical advice and direction to resources
-
Maintained daily Zoom clinics where individual consultation meetings were offered for patients to talk to doctors directly
-
Assisted ICU management with critically ill patients
-
Provided logistics and financial assistance to AASTHA in Patna to establish a 10 bed COVID Care Center
-
Provided logistics and financial assistance to ASHA in several communities to initiate food package deliveries and rural drives for car rentals, medical packages, and staff trainings
-
Offered medical review, medicines, and training to Singhvahini Panchayat in Sitamarhi
-
With help from BJANA, assisted in provision of 50 Oxygen Concentrators and 150 Pulse Oximeters, Thermometers, and Ventilators to areas in Bihar and Jharkhand
-
Procured and delivered masks and PPP to Bihar and Jharkhand
-
With help from BJANA, assisted in provision of one ambulance to AASTHA and ASHA each

Subsequently we have:
-
Held several health camps in Bihar and Jharkhand
-
Initiated physical clinic in Patna
-
Hired ancillary care staff for Bihar and Jharkhand locations
-
Continued with subspecialty consultations
-
Procured a Medivan for outreach and urban health camps

What Happens Next
We plan to:
-
Continue initiatives in rural and urban health camps, targeting at a minimum two per month.
-
Introduce screening for long-COVID pulmonary diseases
-
Provide screening for "silent killer" chronic diseases
-
Address malnutrition in rural and urban targeted areas
-
Analyze and address worker migration from rural Bihar/Jharkhand that creates a myriad of healthcare, nutrition, and child sheltering issues
-
Assist in initiation of Nursing Assistant school(s)
-
Fully implement Medivan concept as mobile health clinics
-
"Adopt a village (community)" in underserved areas
Our Clinical Model
We provide onsite screenings for "silent killer" chronic diseases to include diabetes, kidney disease, heart disease, hypertension, and recently added long-COVID pulmonary diseases.

Every patient gets screened for blood sugar, blood pressure, oxygen level, and urine dipstick. ECG and pulmonary function testing including the six-minute-walk test are offered as needed based on clinical/demographic parameters.

We also provide advice/management for presenting complaints of clinic participants. Basic blood testing (CBC, KFT, LFT, thyroid, lipids) is performed and medications are supplied for a limited period.

We have decided to supply footwear and long-term medications for patients in remote, rural areas who are also socioeconomically disadvantaged.

In addition:

Since our group consists of internationally renowned physicians/surgeons in various subspecialties, we offer second opinion and consultation for specialties including cardiology, transplantation, liver, kidney, and gastrointestinal diseases... to name a few.
